Thank you for your support!

I just want to wish everyone a wonderful New Year and thank you for subscribing to my website. I also want to express my sincere thanks to those wonderful people who came to the launch of Falling Pomegranate Seeds: The Duty of Daughters last year. I will treasure the memory of that day forever.

It is now almost five months since my third novel stepped out into the published world. Five months? So, how is the sequel going? Slowly, slowly, slowly. Very soon, I am going to Varuna, the Writers’ House in the Blue Mountains for two weeks of uninterrupted writing. I hope those two weeks will make it possible to complete the sequel this year, but I am not making any promises. The main thing is the sequel completes my Katherine of Aragon story in all the ways I hope for it.

I do hope you enjoyed (or will enjoy) reading Falling Pomegranate Seeds: The Duty of Daughters. I am utterly grateful to those people who took the time to write reviews, and delighted that so many people have loved my story – just as I loved bringing the story of Beatriz Galindo and her student Catalina of Aragon alive on the page.

Reader reviews really do help make a work successful. Amazon only takes notice of a novel when it has 50 reviews. So far, Falling Pomegranate Seeds: The Duty of Daughters has gained 20 reviews at amazon.com – which is wonderful. Really wonderful. Smile – even its first one star review is kind of appreciated because it reminded me that reading is always a subjective experience and it is nice to know Falling Pomegranate Seeds: The Duty of Daughters’ one star reviewer also gave one star to A New York Times Notable Book and An Amazon Best Book of the Year. But 20 reviews is still a long way from 50 reviews. So, if you did enjoy Falling Pomegranate Seeds: The Duty of Daughters, I would be very grateful if you could please think about writing a review. Amazon does not mind short reviews. Smile – this is an example of a short review left just recently:

5.0 out of 5 stars
