A Special Surprise!
A lot of work goes into organising a novel for publication, especially when traveling down the self-publishing route. Why, beyond finalising the manuscript for my latest novel, All Manner of Things, there’s thinking about printing, promotion, logistics, designs, funding…the list goes on and on.
Thankfully, everything seems to be falling into place as of late. And trust me when I say that things move very, very quickly.
In what feels like the blink of an eye I’ve:
- Completed a final proof of my novel’s Advanced Reader Copies
- Finalised my novel’s cover
- Watched my Pozible Campaign enters its final week (closing 7th October).
- Began to prepare for the first physical version of All Manner of Things to arrive at my door.
In between checking the postbox for new mail, and daydreaming about the moment I get to hold a physical copy of my novel in my hands for the first time, I’ve been thinking about all that I am grateful for.
One thing I am grateful for is you. I am so grateful for all the support and the encouragement I have received to help me reach this point in my writing life.
So much so, that I wanted to give you a sneak peek of the finalised cover for All Manner of Things, before I share it with the rest of the world.
Scroll down to take a peek.
Oh, I do hope you like it.
Warmly,
Wendy
Introducing
Falling Pomegranate Seeds: All Manner of Things
|
Winter, 1539: María de Salinas is dying. Too ill to travel, she writes a letter to her daughter Katherine, the young duchess of Suffolk. A letter telling of her life: a life intertwined with her friend and cousin Catalina of Aragon, the youngest child of Isabel of Castile. It is a letter to help her daughter understand the choices she has made in her life, beginning from the time she keeps her vow to Catalina to share her life of exile in England.
Friendship, betrayal, hatred, forgiveness – All Manner of Things tells a story of how love wins out in the end.
