Counting Down the Days!

I don’t think I am alone in finding the release of a new novel to be a somewhat nerve-wracking experience. Novels take time to write – and historical novels – well, mine do – can take years. In fact, I started working on Falling Pomegranate Seeds: All Manner of Things after the release of its sister novel, The Duty of Daughters.

That was in late 2016.

(As a side note: I am thrilled to announce that Falling Pomegranate Seeds: The Duty of Daughters (in its second published life) is officially on the long list for the Chaucer Award.)

Both of these facts made today’sannouncement all the more special.

In 29 days I will be celebrating the release of my fourth Tudor novel. In what feels like the blink of an eye, All Manner of Things has become available for preorder at amazon – and even, my goodness, has a sale rank.

My original goal was to finish and publish All Manner of Things by early 2020 – but we all know 2020 turned out to be the year for overturned plans. Personally, I couldn’t bear to see my new novel child step out into the world in the midst of a pandemic, so I decided to wait for better and less stressful times: January 15, 2021.

Now, nervous or not, my novel launch date grows near. As the clock counts down, however, I find one thing is certain,  I am so thankful for all the support I have received throughout 2020, and can’t wait for you to read All Manner of Things.
